New Puppy Program
This program is a series of 8 private lessons covering everything you need to know about setting your puppy up for success. Whether you’re a first time dog owner or have raised puppies before these lessons will teach you how to build the strongest foundation you can for your new pup.
Each lesson will be covering 1-2 different topics specifically designed for your household & lifestyle you want to achieve with your pup.
Some of the topics you will learn are:
Potty training
Crate training
Creating healthy routines & behaviors
Proper Socialization to dogs & humans
Preventing bad behaviors from developing
Jumping & biting
Proper exposure to environments & public places
Introduction to the leash
Introduction to recall
How to keep them calm
Excessive barking & whining
Preventing separation anxiety
Chewing & destructive behaviors
and more.
Puppies can be difficult at times, even if you’ve had puppies in the past every one is unique and can exhibit different behaviors than what you may have experienced in the past.
During our first session I will learn about your families needs and goals with your new pup. Part of my job from there is to help keep everyone on the same page in order to make sure your puppy (and you) does not get confused or frustrated during crucial time in their life.
By the end of our 8 sessions together you and your family will have a complete understanding of all the basics needed to raise a happy & healthy puppy. Once our sessions are complete I highly recommend joining one of my group classes or other programs to learn new skills & continue their training journey.
Write ups of each lesson will be provided after each session. These should be referenced often in order to make sure everyone in your family stays consistent.
Price: $1000 for 8 private lessons
The first two weeks we will meet twice a week in your home. Your puppy will be spending the majority of their time there so it’s essential to make sure they do not develop any bad behaviors there that will extend to outside the home. From there will work our way outside to give them proper & safe exposure to the real world and make sure they develop the confidence needed to be able to go anywhere with you.
