Group Obedience Classes
Group Obedience Classes are a weekly class where you will learn a solid foundation of obedience with your dog. The topics covered in group classes will cover all the basics you will need to know to get started on your training journey.
Each week will be a different topic that is created based on things you are interested in learning more about or are struggling with. I always implement as much real world training as possible in each class to make sure you are only learning skills that will apply in every day life with your dog.
Group Classes are good for learning how to control your dog around other dogs. By keeping them engaged in various exercises you can learn practical skills while having fun with your dog.
Any dog over the age of 6 months is welcome, regardless of previous training or experience.
*No human/dog reactive dogs*
Behaviors we cover in class include:
Coming when called
Leash Walking
Staying on a bed (Place)
Sit/down
Proper greetings of people and dogs
Socialization
Barking/overexcitement out in public or around other dogs
How to walk by other dogs in public
How to understand what your dog is trying to communicate.
Passing by other dogs on walks
Jumping on people/guests
Being calm in public
To join you must have taken a Private Lesson or undergone a consultation with me. I require this to keep everyone in my group safe by knowing all the dogs in the class. It also allows me to spend one on one time with you to teach you the basics prior to putting you and your dog into a highly distracting environment.
Class space is limited to no more than 6 people a class.
Price - $35/class
